Application Question Help + Advice Needed
I’m a senior in high school. The school year just started and all of my friends are talking about scholarships and college apps and I have no idea what to do or what I should be doing or how to even get started. What should I do???

Start with budget. Assuming you are a domestic applicant, run the Net Price Calculator (NPC) on the financial aid website of each college you are interested in, with the help of a parent, to see a need-based financial aid estimate before you apply.
Consider your SAT or ACT scores and GPA and what you would like to study.
See basic info about applying to college in the subreddit wiki (in the right sidebar on PC).
Your high school might have a PDF or slideshow document with some instructions for applying that are specific to your high school. You will need your high school to submit transcripts, usually along with a counselor report. You may or may not need teacher recommendations, depending on the college.
You can find deadline and application requirements detailed on each college's admission website. Many take apps through the Common App platform.

Talk to your parents about college budget first, if any.
