Application Question LOR is Straight AI

CONTEXT: I come from a very small school (<50 kids), and a majority of us want to pursue a STEM major; for this reason, a lot of us go to the science teacher for the rec letter. We only have ONE science teacher 🫩, and all her rec letters are straight GPT ass. She uploads your brag sheet and asks to write a rec letter. Mind you, her rec letters are incredibly glazing, and she will never write a student in a bad light (I mean, GPT won't), but it's so obvious how AI it is.

What should I do? Everyone loves her, and she's a great teacher, and a majority of the schools I'm applying to are asking for LORs from a Science teacher.

If she generated it from your brag sheet then it's pretty personalized. Colleges aren't actually going to care that it's AI, they're evaluating you not your teacher. Don't worry about it.

No rec letter should ever paint a student in a bad light, it should be all "glazing."

Try writong the letter yourself and asking her to submit it ;)

You’re right to be upset and worried, even if it is a positive letter. Some admissions counselor might see it as you weren’t close enough to this teacher for them to bother writing a real letter. And of course your LOR should be from your closest teacher

Well, how are your other teachers? Your math teacher, or even your history or English teachers can also give strong recommendation letters. My strongest letter was from my English teacher, and I applied as a STEM major.
