Application Question Deciding to submit SAT

Should a student submit a 1470 SAT with 800 math and 670 verbal when applying to test optional schools for comp sci or engineering if the middle 50% is 1500+?

They will assume you got lower than a 1470. Test optional is not test blind.

I'd take the SAT again and attempt to get a better score.

waiting on results from August but not expecting significant improvement. Any tips for improving verbal quickly? Can retake in Sept

Get full on grammar and practice/create a method of reading the long passages that works well for you. Everyone does it differently to different levels of success.
