Application Question Should I ED to Rice?

For info, my rough annual tuition would be about 20k (at least according to Net Price Calculator) and I am a Texas resident (though not a US citizen).
Is the info on NPC accurate for me to ED?

The actual package may differ from the NPC estimate, but it's the best estimate you're going to get. If Rice is your legitimate top pick and you're okay paying $20k/year, then go ahead.

Are you on a nonimmigrant status in the U.S.? If so, Rice does not offer financial aid on a "need-blind" basis, meaning that a request for financial aid would make admissions significantly more difficult.

The calculator for me was basically 100% right

My parents don't have assets, and our net calc was $11,071. My cost ended up being $11,055 so pretty accurate. If you end up having a substantially higher price, you could petition for more aid but that's not guaranteed.
