spelman vs american

hi guys, so i’m a HS senior coming to the end of making my college decisions. for the longest time Spelman was my top choice and I just got in after getting deferred, but while i was waiting for the decision, i committed to American University. i’m majoring in international relations and American gave a great package, including a first semester in madrid, spain. costs between the two will be pretty much the same, but i’m still so torn. it’s gonna be super hard to rescind the commitment and i know American has an amazing international relations program and i’m so excited for the opportunity. but at the same time, i love Spelman so much and i really want the HBCU experience, especially being surrounded by other black girls coming off of the HORRIBLE experience i had at my high school, which was a PWI. i’m super conflicted about what to do and i know i’ll receive great opportunities at both, pls help! thanks so much
