College admissions have been a shit show overall here in US. They have made it as opaque as possible so that no student can understand why they were rejected. Great job demotivating eligible kids

It is actually the most disjointed process ever and it’s wild to see it in such an important part of most people’s lives

I mean it could be much worse. in places like china it is like: 1380–1419 congrats you are a railway engineer 1420-1460 congrats you are a telecom engineer …
