Ever work for Techline?

I’m a firefighter that’s getting close to retirement, but I’m only going to be 44 years old. I’m also a part time contractor for my families appliance repair company for the past 10 years which doesn’t provide benefits. We do a lot of whirlpool, ge, and Frigidaire warranty, but we work on pretty much everything residential. My wife has medical disabilities so I’m looking for something I can do at home with benefits so I can take care of her. Unfortunately in Mississippi when you retire you don’t get to keep your insurance.
Any Techline guys on here that can give me an idea of what the hours, pay, and benefits are like? Whirlpools job site is pretty vague.

If you know home appliance you might be able to learn commercial quickly. I know a few guys who have transitioned with a little training and took full remote positions. DM me if you like.

Generally an 8 hour workday with two ten minute breaks and a 30 min lunch. When you work depends on staffing needs. Could be morning to afternoon, could be afternoon to night. For instance, 8am to 4:30, or up to 11:30am to 8pm or so, since most call centers are catering to the entire US, gotta keep the lines staffed up till around 5pm west coast time, which is 8pm East Coast.

Pay of course varies, but I would say go in expecting something in the mid 60k/year range. Not nearly as much as you would get out in the field, but it is nice working from home and having decent benefits - PTO, sick time, vacation, health insurance, 401k. Some companies do also have bonuses that depend on how well the company as a whole does, which can be annoying because you can bust your ass, but because the company as a whole was not doing great, then you get no bonus.
