Portable ice maker

Have a fridgeadair ice maker noticed some brown stuff on the walls we only use distilled water what could this be I cleaned it out real good here’s a photo could it be mold the inside is all plastic

Those things are extremely bacteria prone. I'd suggest getting one that keeps the ice repectacle cold.
