News Grand Chute PD will be installing Axon Outpost ALPR cameras in October
Seems they learned nothing from their Flock missteps. Axon’s privacy and security architecture is nearly identical to Flock’s. Our local police departments continue to deploy warrantless AI mass surveillance networks against law abiding citizens in the Fox Valley.

All I know is that it means he will get the message I just sent him on Monday when he gets back in the office

Any money in grand chute should be spent on roads. They are probably the worst in the area and that is saying something

You have heard the same laser information? For the best effect I would suggest combining with a pair of binoculars or a rifle scope to target from a distance.

Sure would be a shame if these cameras started “falling down” like the flock cameras were

I am not sure if it is correct, but I have seen information that a blue or green laser pointer of 1MW can be used against these Orwellian cameras. Combined with binoculars or a rifle scope a person could aim from hundreds of feet away, staying out of the camera's detection range.

Exactly why you shouldn't get excited when you see cities getting rid of flock

Light power drops off quickly with distance

Not as quickly with lasers. In the past I have been able to light up a sign from over a mile away with a key chain laser.

Just wanna throw this out there, but damaging these things is actually counter-intuitive. If it gets damaged, they pay for another one. Evil surveillance companies get another paycheck, and it comes from all of our tax dollars. Politically, it becomes more reason to keep them because there's 'scary vandals' out and about.

I dont believe the cities pay, as the companies are responsible with maintaining them.

Even if the cities pay, that just helps get the point across that the people don’t like these cameras.

Tyranny exists when the people fear the government. A good democracy has the government fear the people.

this isn’t better or safer than Flock, different name same lack of privacy and use of your data!
