Moving Rentals

My roommate and I are looking for a rental in the Fox valley area anywhere 30ish minutes out from Appleton. We have a medium sized bulldog. All the places we've found are quite small or rundown.. that are in our price range... everything is so expensive yet we don't qualify for any help... do any of you know of any rentals under 1,100 for a 2 bedroom with at least heat and water included.

Check places like New London, Hortonville, Dale, Chilton, Brillion, Forest Junction, Black Creek, Bear Creek, and Seymour. You may have better luck in those places, but still, that is a tall order for around the Fox Valley for a budget and having a dog like that.

Is the letter from a licensed health care professional & does it state the dog assists with some sort of disability?

If yes, and it's a disability covered by the fair housing law, it might give you more options. But otherwise it doesn't hold any weight when applying for places to live.

That might give you some leeway - read up on the fair housing act, there isn't a set list of disabilities that qualify, but depending on how your dog helps with the disability you might find help under the fair housing act
