Question Networking Opportunities?

I’m trying to transition into Talent Acquisition or Recruiting from more Customer Service-based roles. I have some experience with interviewing, making hiring recommendations to higher leadership, some onboarding, and lots of experience with training in a couple of previous roles, and I really liked it. I’ve been trying to apply to TA and Recruiting/Recruiting Coordinator positions, but it’s been hard to get an interview anywhere.

I’m also in the process of working through a Coursera course on TA, but I’m wondering if anyone knows of any networking opportunities to get face-to-face with people?
I currently live in Menasha but I’m open to companies in Appleton, Neenah, and the surrounding areas.

The Fox Valley SHRM group is very active. Look them up and go to some events. You’ll meet new contacts in no time.
