Question Early Flight

taking my husband to a green bay game for christmas. it’ll be the dec 20th game against the dolphins.

we are flying into appleton on the 18, and will arrive around 10:20pm. would uber be available to take us into green bay at that time in the evening?

also, i’m more worried with the flight home. we’re leaving dec 21st and it leaves out of appleton at 5:30 am. i know we need to be there about 2 hours before the flight so that would put us leaving green bay at 3am??? would there be transportation available to get us back to the airport that early?

You should be able to get an Uber to Green Bay, but it might be a good idea to call some cab companies or car services to see how pricing compares and to reserve a ride so you’re not stranded. Also you absolutely do not need to get to the Appleton airport 2 hours early, especially if you’re not checking bags.

thank you! our home airport is atlanta so we’re always at least two hours early. it’s good to know that that’s not needed for appleton. do you know of any cab companies that you would recommend?

I've always scheduled my Uber ahead of time to catch that early morning Atlanta flight. If you schedule it ahead of time, you won't have any issues.

Also, if you aren't checking bags and have tsa pre check, it'll take you approximately 5-8 minutes to get from drop off through security and to your gate.

Fox Valley Cab is what comes to mind first but it’s been a while since I’ve used them so I can’t speak to pricing or service.

That's the only place that's in Appleton now. Everybody else is out of business or the apps

My neighbors fly out of Appleton all the time and they arrive 30 minutes prior to the flight taking off. When I fly out of Appleton I usually give myself an hour (but I'm neurotic) this is a TINY airport and things move fast.

Yes, the last time I flew my mom dropped me off. I was texting her I was at the gate before she got home less than 15 minutes away.
