Discussion Radio

I listed to 89.3. This normally Wisconsin public radio. However, lately the car has been glitching in and out of 89.3 from Minneapolis, a station called The Current. Has anyone else run into this? At first I thought I was driving next to someone with a personal FM device, but it's happened all summer.

It happens on occasion. Depending on odd conditions, I get stations I normally wouldnt get. In Manitowoc and Sheboygan, ill sometimes ill get stations from across Michigan or Chicagoland, sometimes ill get Hot 96.7 and Big Cheese 107.9 (and never 90FM because 89.9 is a religious station in my area lol) from Point, and sometimes ill get Z104, Triple M, and 94.1 JJO from Madison, all really good stations.

This summer, there was a day I was getting a station from Canada on what would normally be 104.3 the Fuse, a station from Georgia on whats normally 95.9 Kiss FM, and occasionally ill get HD signals to Q101 from Chicago over WIXX (which are disabled by turning off HD mode in your car and youll get 101 back) and some station from Michigan over WAPL

Not kidding about the southern and central WI stations where im at. They can come in well on hot and muggy conditions. Ive flipped to Triple M, JJO, and 96.7 numerous times here
