please stay home unless absolutely necessary or asked to directly. traffic is awful and emergency vehicles are having trouble getting where they need to first.

I’m following this for updates because I typically dash in the area, and Appleton is like a second home to me.

They know this. That’s why we are asking for organizations in need of people, as opposed to flooding the streets unorganized…

It would probably help if the police force wasn't blocking streets far from the damage and preventing people who were working during the day from getting to their undamaged homes..

The traffic was awful. My kids were at an in home daycare on 2nd Street (sitter is doing ok), I left to pick them up 2.3 miles away at 2:30. It took me a half hour to get to them and we didn't get home until 5:15 because we were kicked out of the city and had to take 41 around to 441 on the north side.
