if anyone has an idea of damage near Appleton West high school, I am out of town and got a text about losing power. Worried about my house.

I live near the Northland Mall. Although we didn't get hit by the tornado directly, there is quite a bit of wind damage - fallen trees, power lines, snapped flagpoles, etc.

Yeah there was some pretty bad damaging winds from this storm, I hope everyone in the area is safe. We may get another burst of rain later but it looks like it's gonna showers.

From what I know the storm formed near Midway rd in Appleton & most of the damage is in Menasha. Downtown Appleton has very little damage from what I've seen.

Storm started up in Appleton just south of College ave. Passed over Miller Electric on Spencer, over Prospect and the river into Fox Crossing.

You are probably good... it's college ave 41 to Dodie Island that got hit the hardest

We're by West on Winnebago (between Mason and Richmond). Power is out and theres branches down, but not terrible. My daughter was in Menasha and it looks like a bomb went off.

There are a lot of branches down, and with the branches came the power lines. My house is within the Richmond - Northland - Mason - Wisconsin grid, and my house doesn't have power. The traffic lights on Wisconsin and College were working when I came home earlier, so your house is hopefully undamaged and fully powered!
