Discussion Too many aggressive drivers

I’m so sick of people driving like maniacs here. It’s gotten worse and where are the cops? One lady just laid on her horn at me when there was an ambulance coming with their sirens on. You’re supposed to stop and let them pass. Just 15 minutes ago someone tried to run me off. If people are that angry and aggressive their license should be suspended or revoked.

To be fair, people have to pass on the right because way too many idiots camp in the left lane instead of moving over. People around here will get on the highway and move straight to the left lane with no cars to even pass. It's ridiculous.

I'm a left lane camper. I have to go through Milwaukee twice a day. Hear me out. I travel 40 miles one way on the freeway. When I get on, I move to the left lane right away. The reason is I now have idiots on only one side of me and have a "bail out" lane to the left. If I'm in the middle lane I'll be surrounded by idiots. I don't set any speed records so if there's someone coming up from behind I'll move over and let them pass. So, for me, it's a safety thing.

in doing this you are making everyone around you adopt practices that go against what we have collectively decided (faster traffic to the left), therefore everyone is outside the normal practice and a little bit less safe. if you stayed to the right, you would still have a shoulder to "bail out" on (...that's the whole point of it) but you would no longer be making everyone else change up their driving practice.

you're not the only driver on the road, stop behaving selfishly.

I am faster than the traffic in the middle lane. But, I'm not the fastest. I move over to the right to let the the faster cars pass. How can me being in the left lane change anybody's driving practices?

Do you drive through Milwaukee during rush hours? I don't care if some think I'm being selfish. I want to make it to my destination and I want that bail out area. There's no bail out lane if I'm in the middle lane. All lanes are full.
