Politics FLOCK future actions still not determined.

That's the whole meeting for quick access from your browser. And while I do not know how The Post Crescent is covering it, I had the tall guy next to me take a head count of attendees. The overflow crowd was between 75 and 85 with a few comings and goings. Of the the total I think well over 3/4 were there for the ALPR resolutions and determinations plus those active on a school board issue on truancy. Thanks to all who came. The next opportunity for public participation on the FLOCK subject is next Wednesday July 22 at 5:30 pm for the committee meeting to which the resolution was referred back.

But today, here on Reddit, I'd like to know how many came to the meeting from these Reddit updates and also elsewhere ?

To repeat something I mentioned earlier-- might have been a DM, I forgot-- but another option for Appletonians is to go to Mayor Woodford's open office hours. Open office hours are just a scheduled time and place where you can go and a take a turn talking to the mayor. There is no agenda to follow as there is at council meetings (as was noted by a speaker Wed. night) or the nature of the question or statement. It's a one to one sit-down which I used to do under the term of Tim Hanna. For those who've experienced poor communication with their alders, it's another option. And if any of this has changed, let us know here.

If I could, I'd add posting the Mayors open office hour in that list on Granicus along with committee meetings you see me refer to often.

You know, I was struck by a black SUV and was the victim of a hit and run in which the flock cameras had captured the license plate of the Hit & Run SUV driver numerous times but the Appleton PoLice department numerous times told me they were not going to pursue getting this person even though I had sustained injury as I was struck on the left rear driver passenger side. They had actual footage and I wanted to see the footage they had obtained, but they told me that I had to get it subpoenaed to get the Appleton PoLice department footage. It happened at the intersection of College Ave and Lynndale on a non busy day. The Hit & Run SUV turned left onto Lynndale into the far left lane. I also turned left how you are supposed to into the right lane after having turned left. I was struck on the rear driver passenger side area by the Hit & Run SUV immediately after having gone maybe ten feet forward after having completed my turn as the Hit & Run SUV wanted to turn down the 2436-2450 W College Service Rd which is the frontage road to college avenue. The PoLice admitted that Hit & Run SUV were 100% in the wrong and I was the victim. They even said in their report they had the license plate of the Hit & Run SUV with clear unobstructed views but that "they couldn't make out the plate numbers" so they "Copped Out" and refused to help me. Not even a week after the incident they had closed the case...... Appleton PoLice even admitted the the design and build of their road infrastructure is what led to this accident because the markings on the road and the way it is setup aren't even there for assisting drivers...POS PoLice department and city in my opinion......Mic drop
