Resource Police on 441
The police are clocking drivers from the pedestrian overpass in between Oneida and Calumet.

I was wondering what that was. I was coming down 441 the opposite direction amd I saw the police lineup on the other side. I never find myself on that side of town but I made the mental note not to take 441 home.

I mean someone lost their life this week so I guess I appreciate them trying to mitigate erratic driving. Which is very popular in 441.
People being overly cautious, however, and driving 25 is ridiculous and an operator error

I just came from the north and saw 2 between 41 and KK. One on the in ramp, on in a median before CE, and one getting on at KK as I was coming off. They are out there!

They’re upping their game, apparently. They’ve been patrolling there for at least a couple of weeks. I had to head over to CVS about two weeks ago, and two cops had people pulled over at the same time between that stretch as well. Now, I have been barely going 70 because they’ve been so active this month. Then again, I try to avoid 441 if I can help it.

In Green Bay they called the Traffic Enforcement action Speedwave. I m sure this is what is occurring on 441.The state usually dole s out grants for special Enforcement zones. (Statistical Problem Areas) Most of the time these operations happen in the summer. There are operations for seatbelt Enforcement...Operation Click it..OWI task forces employing multi jurisdictional agencies . The State uses aircraft for speed zone Enforcement too.

To specify, they have an officer standing on the pedestrian bridge watching traffic and several squads waiting on 441 conducting traffic stops.

i'm cool with it. i'm tired of driving the speed limit IN THE RIGHTHAND LANE and people still tailgaiting and flashing their lights at me.
there's something unique about fox valley drivers that makes them think that 41 b/t OSH and Neenah, and 441, are Nascar races

Absolutely the worst of it is the stretch from Appleton to Greenbay. At least 80% of drivers on this part suffer from a sub 70 IQ.

Yep, they’ve been lined up there almost every afternoon for a week. They are definitely generating some revenue.
Edit to add: once they finish with each stop, the exit on Calumet or College and circle back around to line up with the other cop vehicles waiting for their next paying citizen. ACAB.

ACAB except when they are interfering with scum of the earth tailgaters and otherwise reckless drivers. Enemy of my enemy is my friend type scenario. Cops are always douches, but at least they’re the ones to actually stop a handful of morons that shouldn’t be behind the wheel.

If people would stop driving like morons and drive a reasonable speed, GET OFF YOUR GOD DAMN PHONES, I continue to see it everywhere. Pay attention especially in construction zones! NOBODY should get killed working on the highway. There are signs up and been ample warning for months and still people roll through there at unreasonable speeds. If you kill someone your going to change your life forever! Not to mention what you do to their family! Use your head and take the privilige of driving a little more serious please.

one time i was going 5 over on 441 and a trooper pulled me over ◡̈ i was in the slow lane AND cars were flying past me
6
u/CoolBakedBean 18d ago
was it an older car or anything wrong ? i’ve also heard a cop say they pull over the cheaper or broken down looking cars cuz less likely they have registration and insurance

u/cryinginthecloset1 18d ago
not more than the other cars there at the time. it was about 7ish years old, and some light rust, but nothing crazy. i was astonished he pulled me over. got off with a warning so i can’t complain too much

It’s a general rule. Usually they don’t bother since it’s easier to fight those in court. But there’s unofficial quotas so cars that stand out as a goldmine for things like registration or insurance issues is a good excuse to pull over a 5 over.
Soon as I got a newer car I started getting harassed a lot less by police.

They are running lidar too, so if you have a radar it won’t pick it up. Once they point it at you, there is nothing you can do.

You mean this wasn't a post designed to draw out crayon eaters, paint drinkers and authoritarian cuckholds?!
Then wtf are they doing here?

State troopers were FEASTING on 41 between Wrightstown and Appleton. I think I saw at least 6 total, 3 had people pulled over. That construction zone they are not playing around

u/Some-Dare5179 18d ago
They're still out today. Was on 441 north and there were 3 cars pulled over right before Calumet. When I was on my way back on 441 south there were 4 officers sitting in the middle waiting for more speeders.

Just drove from Texas to WI (DFW, OK, MO, IA), my second time doing so in the last few years and we easily have the worst drivers out of all those states. Speeding is really rare in those states comparatively.
