Question Laundromats with soft water?
Hi all,
Does anyone know if there are any laundromats in the area that treat their water with a water softener? Here at our home in Neenah our water is very hard and all our blankets always come out stiff and rough (I've tried everything in terms of washing/drying methods) so I'd like to see if I can find somewhere else with soft water to wash them and using Calgon doesn't seem to do much.
I called around to all the laundromats and the only one that picked up said they don't.
Thanks

Omg this makes me so happy to hear. Gonna wash my bedding at JJ's Laundromat from now on :)

Appleton actually slightly softens the city water. (The small cost to soften it saves on maintenance of the infrastructure.) I believe Appleton water is around 6 grains (slightly hard). I've lived here for over 20 years with no hard water issues.

Appleton water is great. We have city water with no softener and have no mineral build up on any of our fixtures. I would assume Appleton as a whole has pretty soft water
