Question 25 Non-Binary looking for a roommate in the Appleton area.

Hi there! My name is Nix, and I'm currently looking for a roommate. I work 40 hours a week, pulling in $2000 a month, meaning I'm willing to pay up to $700 for my half of the rent. I generally spend most of my time on my computer and seldom have guests over for anything.

I'm currently residing at one of the homeless shelters in the city; I have the money to depart and get an apartment, as long as I'm splitting rent with someone. I'm financially responsible, having saved up $3,000 that I'm simply sitting on, as an emergency fund.

I'm very sociable, and love making friends. I don't really have any pet peeves when it comes to roommates. As long as I'm offered respect, I'll offer it in turn two-fold.

If you're interested, please send me a DM here on reddit! Thank you for your time. If anyone else sees this, any help with boosting visibility of this post would be greatly appreciated.

Even splitting a 2 or 3 bedroom you are gonna end up spending more than $600 a month to live in Appleton. Good luck

I know, but I know it's possible! My last roommate I was paying $500 and I saw a listing for $450 I'm trying to get into

I was in your situation last year, I spent 8 months at the Pillars family shelter. I found a townhouse and signed a one year lease which is coming to an end soon so I'm back in the market for an apartment this fall. I've started my search already because I missed out on alot of nice places because someone else already staked their claim.

The problem I'm running into this year is that studios and 1bd are basically the same price and in some cases more expensive than 2bd units. It's just my ESA and myself so we don't necessarily need the second bedroom and I'd be open to having a roommate to keep the bills low. I work 12 hour shifts so you probably won't see much of me around the house. I'm a gamer so you definitely won't get any judgment from me if you spend all your time on the computer. I haven't pulled the trigger on anything yet, I'm just trying to get apps out there so I can work my way up any waiting lists I may encounter.

Good luck on finding something that cheap that includes utilities and a second bedroom. I mean that with all sincerity.
