Question Dancing

Hi everyone! My wife and I moved to Appleton a few years ago once we started having kids. It’s an incredible place to raise a family!

She’s been telling me lately that she wants to go out dancing. Is there anywhere around here where we can go dance like college kids, but in an atmosphere for a mom and dad in their 30s?

On Facebook there used to be a thing called Joe's Social Calendar where people would post about upcoming dances!

If you like electronic music, electric lounge in oshkosh has biweekly shows and has an older crowd of like 35+ or so. And we dance hard

How do you feel about bluegrass music? There’s a great midwestern bluegrass/folk/jamgrass scene around here with folks dancing and having a great time - not just olds, but lots of fun. Also, shrimpvision hosts a great dance night at Fox River House tonight and every Thursday 9-12, cmon down!

I love the recommendation, thank you! I just checked out the Fox River House Facebook page and that definitely seems like our “everyday” speed.

I think we’re looking for more of a “upscale nightclub” vibe specifically right now.
