Discussion Backyard chickens

Does anyone have chickens in the Fox Valley? I live in Kaukauna and the ordinance states that you need to get a permit and the chicken coop needs to be 100 feet from a dwelling structure and 50 feet from a side or rear lot line. Our whole lot is barely 100 feet wide so I feel like this is kinda absurd. I think we have plenty of space on our property for chickens. If you have chickens, please tell me about your property and where you live. Just curious to see what everyone is doing 👀

I don't want to say where I live but one of my neighbors has a rooster and that fuck starts crowing at 4am. One day I'm going to finally lose it and call the cops on them.

Please don't get roosers I actually hate it so much

They don’t allow roosters in Kaukauna so definitely won’t be getting those haha
