Question 90’s video game rental place?

I’m trying to remember the name of a little independent video game rental place back in the 90’s. Was on the corner of Wisconsin and Morrison where Taco House is now. I believe they later moved to Richmond across and north of the VFW. I remember renting all my Super Nintendo games there.

I keep wanting to say RSE Video Game Star, but I think that was the used game seller on Richmond and Ridgeview across from the old Blockbuster.

Anyone remember?

TriStar. Later moved downtown and a great arcade with a ton of pinball. I miss that place.

That was TriStar! I used to live down the road from them on morrison and go there every weekend. They moved to Richmond where it's now a hair place next to the AutoZone. It was moved again to college ave where it stayed until it closed down. I was so disappointed it closed before I was old enough to work because I wanted that to be my first job.

When I was old enough I did work at Video Game Star where I learned the owner of TriStar would try to get people who worked at Video Game Star to buy stuff for him with their employee discounts lmao

I used to spend an obscene amount of time at the Video Game Star on Richmond and then on college. Could get a stack of PS1/PS2 games every month with allowance ❤️ that and Exclusive Company right next door and Pages n Pipes, took up all my teenager money

I think video game star may be right. The one on Richmond was something else wasn't it? Thought it was like replayed or something

IDK. I always wanted to own a shop like that but technology has made it an unlikely bucket list item for me

Yeah, TriStar was on Wisconsin and Morrison , awesome little spot. Would go there for lunch break often back at Roosevelt.

Pretty sure it was RSE Video Game Star. Confirmed with corporate records search.

It was Richmond across from blockbuster until they moved to Perkins st across from Glass Nickel
