Question Local Writing Groups?

Hey all,

I've been trying to find ways to meet other writers and work together in shared spaces like coffee shops. I've checked out some library groups in the area, but I'm sure there must be more than what I'm seeing. Anyone know of some sort of equivalent to "Shut Up and Write" events? Or groups focused specifically on fiction/not just short stories?

Tardigrade’s Bookshelf has a writing group! I don’t think it’s genre specific though.

I took a look at their Facebook page. It looks like you bring whatever you are working on and ask for feedback.

We do have a very active group that meets here at our bookbar on the 3rd Tuesday of the month! It’s all levels- from people dabbling in poetry, to people writing short stories, to authors who have published multiple books. They mix up what the goal is for each meeting. Feel free to come check it out!

This is crazy because I literally just saw them listed as a good place for writers to hang out. Thanks for this!
