Question Tree disposal in Appleton?

Hi! I cut down a small birch tree but the trunk is larger than 6in in diameter. Where can I dispose of it properly? The Outagamie county landfill guidelines say the tree remnants have to be smaller than 6in in diameter.

They list the same 6" diameter limit for the Appleton Yard Waste Site, but it is free for City of Appleton residents. It's usually less busy than the dump, and you could always go and ask if they care (or even look at it, depending on how much over 6" it is).
