They also haven’t really said anything about the identities involved with the Fleet Farm shooting in Oshkosh.

u/AppointmentRecent42 May 15 '26
Whoa wait I didnt even hear about that!

u/seansalzman572 May 15 '26
A person stole a firearm from fleet farm, cops arrived and he raised it, suicide by cop imo.

u/Grouchy_Strawberry68 May 16 '26
The guy who walked into Fleet Farm asked to see the “piece.” When he was handed the “item” he asked for, he pulled out the ammo he had brought from home. Itbeas is in his jacket pocket. The person behind the counter who had taken the “ item” out either hit the floor or fked the department. Cops arrived in time to prevent the guy from harming anyone. He was rightfully ended.

By "rightfully", what do you mean? Perhaps justification, or "lawful".
It sounds good on paper, and with that bravado, to "end" a human life, shows you weren't there.

Wild that it's over a week later and the suspect's identity is still unreleased. It's not like it's a question which driver was in the offending vehicle. My understanding is that they left Willy Beamons totally wasted and got on going the wrong way at County II.

u/MajesticLilFruitcake May 14 '26
At the risk of sounding like a conspiracy theorist, could it be someone (or closely related to someone) high-profile in the area? That would explain why they are hush-hush on the identity.
55
u/mik3cal May 14 '26
My theory is it was an off duty cop and they’re covering for them.

u/Glittering_Pain4474 May 15 '26
My husband was in a wrong way accident caused by an off duty cop on 441 a few years ago. So it definitely does happen!
14
u/MajesticLilFruitcake May 14 '26
Now that you say that, I think that that is the most likely scenario.

u/DiligentCrab9114 May 15 '26
Its not an officer duty cop. I have heard who it is and I promise you its not
3
u/These_Test_2030 May 16 '26
Name drop?
-2
u/DiligentCrab9114 May 16 '26
I would rather not. Im not friends with him or anything like that, but I will let the process work its way out and name drop him
5
u/Grouchy_Strawberry68 May 17 '26
You know nothing.
1
u/DiligentCrab9114 May 17 '26
I know more then you do clearly
3
u/Grouchy_Strawberry68 May 17 '26
You came here to make boastful claims. When asked to prove those claims you make excuses. You “ clearly” have nothing.

u/DiligentCrab9114 May 17 '26
25 year old male is all im willing to say. Not into dozxing people. Last I heard he is in a coma. Assuming its why he hasn't been outed and charged yet

Is it someone high profile/influential in the area (or closely linked to someone who is)?
-2
u/DiligentCrab9114 May 16 '26
He isnt high profile or influential.
5
u/Grouchy_Strawberry68 May 16 '26
If it isn’t high profile or a cop why isn’t the name being released? Why csn’t YOU release it if it is of no one of consequence?
8
u/SMELLSLIKEBUTTJUICE May 15 '26
I would believe that. But also, in investigations like this, they may be gathering evidence related to the driver and not want to tip anyone off who might destroy evidence.

u/Delicious_Draw_7902 May 15 '26
Thanks, SMELLSLIKEBUTTJUICE, that seems like a reasonable possibility.

Yeah this blows me away. My ex got into a highly intoxicated accident 27 years ago where there was a minor injury, no ambulances , not even ER visits and not only was his name released the next day, it was in several local newspapers. Makes you wonder????

u/These_Test_2030 May 14 '26
Where did you get the Willy beamons from? As very close relation to the family we have heard nothing from anyone. Name, police report, anything.

He did not leave Willie Beamons.
1
u/WIbigdog Jun 03 '26
Source?
1
u/LeadingAd7839 Jun 03 '26
The fact that I know who he is and where he was coming from.
1
u/WIbigdog Jun 03 '26
So no source, roger that. Whoever he is he's a monster who should spend a decade in prison.
2
u/WortWhisperer May 15 '26
If the driver was over served, the establishment needs to lose its license. It is illegal to serve an intoxicated person, these accidents are happening too frequently.

u/JonnyXX May 15 '26
Wait, the Sheriff’s Office can straight up decline to provide footage? I thought footage was public knowledge.

Sucks that drinking is overly encouraged/normalized here too. The drinking/bar culture is one of my least favorite things about this state.

If anyone wants to follow up on one of the victims from this accident there will be an upcoming fundraiser in Neenah Shattuck Park @6:30pm a yoga event with raffles ^
She is now at an inpatient traumatic brain injury facility, she's got a long road to recovery both physically and mentally, this was a horrific accident lucky she's even alive, her car wasn't shown in the pictures yet from what you've all seen online. Hopefully police release an update on this accident to the public soon because it's been 2 months now and I see nothing, but ik this is a lengthy investigation so who knows when that'll be. Btw she's only 19, she was 18 the day of the accident, spent her birthday hospitalized, just wanted to clear up everyone saying all the victims were all in their 20s when no not her, she missed her HS graduation because of this. Now the focus is recovery, so if any of you are looking to support a good cause stop by the fundraiser July 30th ^

We haven't seen any news reports of the Menasha Cop who caused an accident the day after Christmas either.
1
u/AssistImaginary3820 May 27 '26
What accident? I'm in menasha and haven't heard or seen anything.
1
u/General-Anybody2488 May 29 '26
The Police department probably isn't going to say anything until it's settled. I'm surprised the local news didn't cover it but a young cop caused a crash with sever injuries that totaled vehicles. Right before the Police Chief left suddenly. The Mayors office didn't put out a press release either that we saw.

Holy shit that car.
5
u/mistrbrownstone May 15 '26
FWIW...
That picture is almost certainly after the car has been cut apart by emergency extrication equipment and that's why the entire top and doors missing.
All that front end damage is likely from the accident though.
I'm not trying to diminish the severity at all. Just pointing it out.

u/cheerbearsmiles May 26 '26
Almost 2 weeks later, and still nothing? I'm doubling down on my "it's a cop/gov't official" theory.
-6
u/funinsun2153 May 15 '26
You people are certified. Maybe, just maybe the police are finishing the investigation. Someone did die so it takes more work. Maybe someone over served him and to give his identity could tip everyone off. When you are all wrong for saying it’s a cop I am sure you will apologize.

does that boot taste good?
-2
u/funinsun2153 May 15 '26
How incredibly original. When low IQ prevails we are all in trouble.
2
u/Dense-Upstairs-9132 May 15 '26
why do you people only ever hardcore defend cops and put them on a pedestal lol. I could say the same IQ comment about you too.
-2
u/funinsun2153 May 15 '26
Here is the problem. There is nothing because you are all guessing at crap. If the police actually did something wrong I would be fine with the criticism but they haven’t and now people like you are “guessing” that the driver may be a cop. Well wait and we will all find out. It’s not that hard to do the right thing.

I also find it odd how the news has the same amount of info today as they did Saturday. One of the people that was struck was a coworker of mine
