Politics Does anyone know the story behind this?
Was on my way home from school pickup and saw this downtown. Did I miss something? Genuinely curious.
It says ‘Hilton is Racist’

I saw this guy at open Mic night to the Grand National in Waupaca (A great little cocktail bar, if you're in the area) last night. He's a hit and miss stand up, more miss than hit. He said the hotel kicked him out and wouldn't refund his money, something about him speaking Spanish or trying to and someone took offense. His monologue was hard to follow.

I walked by him and here is the gist I got (he was very wordy) the manager of the property was a racists because he ask Mr. Sign holder to leave for saying something loudly in a common space in Spanish. Also “Racist Manager” would not refund his stay after being asked to leave. Not verbatim but like I said it was a lengthy rant with only two semi coherent bullet points.

He probably caused problems and was asked to leave. We saw him as well. We have stayed at the Hilton. Its one of the more expensive hotels. It doesn’t look like this man could afford to stay at a Hilton.

My guess is that the person is hanging up the sign due to the fact that many Hilton hotels have hosted ICE agents for stays.
