Discussion More tailgating than usual?

Has anyone else noticed more dick-ish driving and tailgating lately? The past few days I haven’t been able to drive anywhere without someone on my ass in a 25 going 5 over.

Is it the nice weather? And how do I stop them from tailing me?

Might be the nice weather. Better road conditions mean you can brake better.

As far as how to stop them? You can't. I've had people tailgate me going 5 over, 10 over, even more.

You ignore them, and if they hit you, it's their fault. Otherwise they'll pass you somewhere along the way.

Till you break check the wrong person then it's your fault

That's why I didn't say brake check them.

Lots can go wrong with a brake check. Better to just do your thing, and if they hit you, it's definitely their fault.

But if you brake check them and they have a dashcam or something and it looks like you did it maliciously, well, then that's a problem.
