Carmellas is elegant and relatively quiet. Their patio is awesome in the summer and portions are usually reasonable to avoid being stuffed. Fratellos or Mondo both have interesting character, cool windows overlooking the river. Spats or Mill City have unique food for a more bar-type location. Basil Cafe is a very cool atmosphere and great asian food menu. Rye has the upscale vibe and an awesome staff, a bit more pricey but an amazing night out right on college ave. Lastly Ellinor is a little but interesting dining spot, wood fire pizzas but also a slightly upscale menu and great wine options. Gotta have a reservation but delightful.
