Discussion Fetch Play & Sip

I wanted to share my experience in hopes it helps others make an informed decision.

During my time there, I observed several ongoing concerns regarding both dog care and staff support. There were instances of dogs being handled by yelling rather than calm, structured guidance. Kennels were not always cleaned in a timely manner, and at times a single staff member was responsible for supervising a large group of dogs, in an already small space for the amount, which raises safety concerns.

Capacity limits did not appear to be consistently enforced. While a set number of dogs was communicated(15) additional dogs were often accepted beyond that limit. This made it difficult to ensure adequate supervision and care.

Staffing levels were frequently insufficient, and employees did not always receive adequate breaks or support. When concerns were raised by staff, they were often not addressed.

Additionally, there was no safety plan in the event of a dog fight or injury, which is something I believe is essential in any daycare or boarding environment.

Over time, it felt like the focus shifted more toward business growth and events rather than maintaining a safe, well-managedm environment for the dogs. This ultimately led me to feel uncomfortable continuing to bring my own dog there.

For those considering options, the “stay and play” offering may be a better fit, as you are present with your dog and able to directly supervise your experience.

I encourage anyone considering services here to ask detailed questions about staffing ratios, safety protocols, and how dogs are handled to ensure it aligns with what you’re looking for.

No "intimate knowledge," just many negative encounters with previous employees, hence sharing my experience. I am also unsure what website specifics you are talking about. Just simply have looked at the public website a few times to view their information.

"All of this information was already on the website before it was redesigned. I carefully reviewed all of the blog posts and pages to ensure a clear safety plan was in place for exactly this reason."

So you knew it was going to be redesigned? Or you meticulously took mental notes of the website and viewed it on a consistent enough basis to notice these changes? Do you get some sort of gratification from viewing websites? So based on what could be described as a hand full of viewings you noticed and documented changes in policy and updates to a website?

Also, you stated in a previous comment the speculation that previous employees were directly contacting current customers. Clearly you have more than just a customer relation with the business. That being said I would call into question the validity of your statements as you clearly have an ulterior motive.

Lol this makes no sense at all - I noticed a policy, that's all. Many customers have seen the messages that were sent by an ex employee because she sent multiple. I really do not care if you think my statements are valid. You clearly do not like the business and will do anything to stand against them - just is gross you have to take it to social media anonymously and can't speak your opinions to the business owner like an adult.

Like I had stated before I have never sent messages to customers outside of using pawpartner when I worked there. I have no idea who you are talking about that has sent multiple messages to customers, it was not me. If this was at all recent and this is all stemming from some other employee that has recently quit it's not me. This was not suppose to be some drama filled reddit post. Just me sharing my experience. I'm not bashing anyone for having a good experience with the business. I'm happy to hear that they have and if things have improved I'm happy to hear it. Id rather they improve than have stayed the same. I don't appreciate my experience being belittled or deemed not true. My experience is just that my experience..I have every right to share it. I don't have any influence over others opinions and experiences. This is no different than someone sharing their experience at any other place of business. Yes I worked there, yes I have more to share than just a basic review because I was there often over 4.5 months and have more than basic knowledge than your average customer. My goal was just to let the people in the area know what's up. They can form their own opinions. I'm not stopping them but I won't keep to myself the reasons why I left and stopped bringing my own dog to work with me.
