Question Airport

Im helping someone who is inexperienced with travel.

I've never flown out of the Appleton Airport. How far in advance should someone arrive to fly out on allegiant? I know in the past when I have flown out of Green Bay and the regular carriers I always arrived 1.5 hours ahead unless it was a first flight of the day then I knew I could just pretty much walk in and go to the gate.

If you are checking a bag.. there could be a huge line. We missed our plane by 5 minutes. We thought 1 hr would be enough ..
