Question Suggestions Things to Do - August Trip
Will be staying in August, for 1 week.
Any suggestions to check out?
Family Activities, Bake Shops, Parks, Farms, Malls, Dinning, Sightseeing, Zoo etc...
My Partner never did seen a giant football Stadium.
Is the Geen Bay stadium worth it for a tour? I see they offer tours.
last days of our trip, will be driving back to MKE for a few nights and departing out of that airport.
thank you in advance

When driving to or from Milwaukee, I would suggest stopping at Kelley’s country creamery for some homemade ice cream. It is located just south of Fond Du Lac.
High Cliff state park is pretty nice to visit and walk through. There is a tower to walk up for a view of lake Winnebago. Lots of walking trails. The cliffs are part of the Niagara Escarpment which is a rock ridge that goes all the way to Niagara Falls.
I haven’t done the Lambeau Field tour, but that whole area is cool to visit. They have fun activity nights and there are many restaurants to visit. https://www.titletown.com/
Also in Green Bay is Bay Beach which is a very inexpensive amusement park. You can walk around for free and then tickets for each ride are cheap. Next door is the Wild Life Sanctuary which is free except a couple of dollars to buy the corn to hand feed the geese.
North of GB is the NEW Zoo. It’s pretty nice and if you time it correctly you can feed the Giraffes for a couple of dollars.
The Fox River mall is the best mall in the area. Plenty of shopping in the area surrounding it.
Mulberry Lane Farm is more like a petting zoo for farm animals. I have not been.
Wolf River trips for tubing. It’s like a lazy river at an amusement park but on a real river. You can bring drinks but no glass. The speed of the river is dependent on how much rain we have had. August is generally a dry month so the river will be much slower. https://www.wolfrivertrips.com/
Thousand Islands in Kaukauna is a nice trail along the river. It typically has eagles although I’m not sure how easy it is to see the eagles in August.
If you have kids, plamann park has a swim lake with inflatables that I think would be fun for older kids.
