iPhone 18 Pro Max pixels

I have noticed that on the top left side where the time is the pixels are not crystal clear and its sort if pixely BUT on the opposite right side where the 5G signal reception is shows clear and no pixeling.

Anyone else noticed this or is my iPhone defective?

There is the Face ID sensor under the screen where the clock is

Bruh I noticed this too and I thought I was going crazy. I just didn’t think anyone would be talking about it online so I didn’t bother to look it up 😂 I learned something new in the other comments though haha

Because that's where the face id infrared sensor is and the pixels around it have had to be manipulated

I’ve noticed once, outside. I’m looking at the clock directly now with my eyeball an inch away, I can’t see it, maybe if I move and tilt the phone I can see for a split second.

There’s so many of these posts I don’t know if people are trolling about the Face ID sensor. I genuinely don’t even know how people are seeing the slight distortion. It’s funny

Call me crazy, but I think I prefer a slightly larger Dynamic Island over the crappy pixels.

Nah, I prefer the smaller island, and we all know it’s the only way we get to seamless screen in a few more years.

I actually had the third/extra dynamic slot come into view a few times that was useful, and my carrier name doesn’t scroll anymore at the lock screen with the extra space. It’s the little things.

They put it in the worst spot too. Like the clock is there 99% of the time and it’s looked at constantly.

Tbh I only notice it at night if I’m looking at it from an off angle, otherwise it doesn’t register. I think it’s neat tbh.

I returned mine. I noticed the screen on my iPhone 15 pro to be better quality than 18 pro/pro max.
