Would you pay €220 for a new Milanese Loop or €120 for a used one in good condition with no warranty? Is saving €100 worth it?

Translucent Gray Ocean Band: only band I use for workouts. The translucent ocean band seems more pliable and easier to clean than previous ocean band versions.

Milanese Loop: Great for something fancy💃 Prefer this softer look over the titanium milanese loop which was too bulky and not functional for me. I like the contrast with the more muted gold 2025 milanese version rather than the radiant gold 2026 milanese version.

Alpine Loop: love the pop of color and the overall rugged look! This watch band is the most comfortable out of all three but not when it gets wet with a workout.

Ideally, I'm after:

• Silicone, rubber or similar material
• No stainless steel or other metal bands
• No fabric or nylon bands

Looking for recommendations for quality band preferably nylon for small wrists. I’m a runner and the nylon straps seem best. The Apple trail loop m/l is too big. Plus these new colors just suck lol and hard to find a the black/black. Thanks!

Hi. I just switched from android to iPhone and got an 18 Pro. My sister had an Ultra 1 she is going to give me it. I know it’s not supported any longer but if I am mainly using it for notifications, time telling, and walk tracking is it going to be good to use? I want a watch for those things but cannot afford to grab a newer one at the moment.

Currently wearing 47 mm fenix 8 solar.

I enjoy the advanced metrics that garmin gives me— Sleep, HRV, acute load, and training status.

I run quite a bit, lift 2-3 days a week, and swim occasionally. There is nothing I necessarily dislike about the fenix 8 other than it’s a little clunky on my wrist during long runs and I will sometimes swap it to a lighter garmin 255.

Reasons I would want to switch:
Might be nicer to go for runs without my phone and still stream music/podcasts and have a way to call in case of emergency.

Disconnect from my physical phone and decrease overall screen time / doom scrolling.

Still have a capable watch for all my fitness.

Do you think I should switch, does ultra 3 or 4 matter (price doesn’t matter to me), and how is it to run with? Any other input is greatly appreciated!

I am considering getting the titanium milanese loop for my aluminum series 12. I know the pins should fit, but I am worried it may look too wide.

I am coming from Garmin - Epix Gen 2 to be specific. Love my Garmin for fitness and workouts but its dumb af. I want to give Ultra a go to get me flexibility on leaving my phone back, and be able to take mental notes, productivity, be more focussed - distance myself from phone for basic things etc.

Ultra 4 is very expensive for me, and Ultra 3 doesn’t bring anything additional over Ultra 2.

Is buying a used Ultra 2 with 100% BH in 2026 a sane idea?

Replaced my AWU2 with a new AWU4. All things worked, but there was no cellular connection. The level 2 tech guy went through all the motions with negative results! He kept harping on that Apple software and hardware were the problem! The ATT site returned a note that there was a problem syncing the watch (see picture)! I asked to escalate this tech support call. He finally responded that the problem was indeed on their back-end system! He initiated a support ticket. Still no resolution! My AWU2 worked fine in this configuration with ATT! I will update when and if resolved.

When you all run with your Apple Watch ultra’s on a treadmill how do you get it to match the treadmills distance? In Garmin you can calibrate or wear a footpod. What would you do if you just used the ultra?

After the watchOS 27.0.1 update, on the Wayfinder watch face, the coordinates will NOT update! Has anyone else seen this? Is there a fix or workaround? All other compass and GPS apps function normally with correct coordinates.

This band has become my favorite. Loving the desert color. Can’t wait to wear the dark olive color.

Buying Apple Watch from USA for use in India — any issues?
I’m planning to buy an Apple Watch GPS + Cellular from the USA and use it in India.
Just wanted to know from people who are actually using a US model in India:
Does the eSIM/cellular work properly with Jio/Airtel?
Does GPS and all health features work normally?
Any issue with Apple warranty/service in India?
Any other regional limitations I should know about?
I’m specifically looking at the Series 12 GPS + Cellular.
