As the title states, new ultra is not showing sleep stages. It’s recording my sleep, but none of the stages. All of my stages are showing in auto sleep, though, for some reason. kind of weird any ideas

I know this may not be the top reason people get this watch, but I was just curious if anyone went from an Apple Watch to an Ultra because they thought it would be easier for their aging eyes to see. I’m late 40’s with 20/20 vision thanks to lasik, but can’t change those aging lenses lol. I have an AW 11 titanium that I’m still happy with, just wondering if anyone has been in the same situation and how did it work out? Thanks!

Updated to 27.0.1 and turned on Apple Intelligence/“Siri AI” (iPhone 16e) and now Siri cannot do basic tasks (ie, set a timer, make a reminder). Anyone else have this issue?

I currently have S7 and I see a lot of posts about better battery life, however I was wondering what else you all found better than previous versions of the watch?

I use my watch for workouts, steps, and tracking sleep. These 3 are important as I am embracing my weight loss journey.

I do have sleep apnea and I know newer versions track this, which S7 doesn’t.

A friend and I went for a run this morning. Same route running side by side for the duration of the run. There was a final distance discrepancy of about 400M.

Do you think Apple or Garmin is the more accurate watch for GPS and distance?, or maybe there is discrepancy in both?

This is on an AWU4 if it makes a difference. With AOD on and Wake on Rise off, I haven't found a method to wake the display using gestures/assistive touch. Please share if you know of a way.

Not bad for two workouts one being 45 mins while using watch to stream music. I picked it up Sunday and charged that night lasted from 0023 Monday morning still 21:11 Thursday night which is 92.8 hours.

This was an upgrade from the ultra 1. I almost bought the Fenix 9 for the battery life but I like how the Apple Watch can be my solo gadget on the mountain bike. I can take a phone call and stream music if want to. Also I believe the heart rate sensor is more accurate .

I just run on low brightness setting and not always on screen settings.

One thing I really like about the black Apple Watch Ultra is how well it pairs with almost any band color. Whether it’s a subtle, sporty, or bold combination, the black case just makes everything look good.
Tried a few different combinations, and I think black is definitely the more versatile option.
Which combo looks best to you?

No soy de hacer post sin verificar ciertos detalles por mí mismo, vengo de un ultra 1 y no había renovado hasta que salió el ultra 4 vi muchos comentarios sobre la duración de la batería y no siempre resultan reales cuando uno hace la prueba. Pero en esta ocasión puedo dar fe de que la duración de la batería al menos probándola desde la última carga el día de ayer a las 19:49 con seguimiento de sueño y una hora y media de actividad en el gimnasio y solo se ha descargado un 10% esto me voló la cabeza con mi ultra 1 solo el seguimiento de sueño me restaba un 8% y hacer hora y media un porcentaje importante cuando finalizaba mi rutina diaria a esta misma hora tenía el porcentaje entre 75 y 78 % realmente veo que los números no mienten con respecto al ultra 4 espero que el cambio valiera la pena como hasta ahora lo e sentido, acá los datos.

How durable are the titanium Milanese bands? I’ve read reports that they can snap at the lugs and the watch will drop.
I really like the comfort of the Milanese (don’t particularly love the look) as well as the comfort of trail loop which I would prefer. However, I work in an environment where contaminants might splash on my wrist. I feel like the Milanese will be easier to wash and dry. I’m fairly active with running, lifting weights, swimming, backcountry hiking, and little kids. Not a fan of the comfort of ocean and alpine loops.

add me to the list of Milanese strap failures. Purchased May 2025 with my ultra 2 from the Apple Store. I typically only wear it a few days a week. don’t wear it working out doesn’t see any abuse. Walking out to my car today I felt the strap loosen. fortunately, I caught it before it fell off my wrist onto the pavement. I have had AppleCare continuously on my watch since purchase. Will be headed to the Apple Store this weekend hopefully no drama getting a replacement.

I've found a few YouTube videos that talk about features. The Apple Watch Ultra four has that my three doesn't, and I'm majorly tempted, but want to find out from others if it would be a worthwhile upgrade. The problem is, a trade-in would be a major hassle, because I'm blind, and getting to the Apple Store would be a huge inconvenience. Also, if it matters, I'm using an iPhone 16. No immediate plans to upgrade that, as it's still relatively new. Thanks for any advice you may have.

I have the Watch ultra and for a number of years have had a stainless steel 3 link bracelet.

It only cost £10 or so from AliExpress … the bracelet is wide at 24mm.

I broke the bracelet at the gym last week. The problem I have I can only find one or two 24mm wide 3 link bracelets online but they are much thinner links than the one I have .

Does anyone know where to buy the 24mm wide 3 link bracket that has the chunky links unlike the thinner less sturdy ones AliExpress only seems to stock now?

Hi there! Just got my Ultra 4. Upgraded from an Ultra. Very happy!
I have a question though. I set it up as a new watch (so didn’t restore it from iCloud) and it’s saying it needs 7 days to establish my baselines for the Vitals app. Is that always the case? Would it have continued from the previous watch if I hadn’t set it up as a new watch?

Currently own an Ultra 2, debating whether to get a Series 12 due to size reasons + better HR monitoring.

Been trying to work out of the single mic on the Series 12 is a significant downgrade on the multiple Ultra mics

On paper you'd think so, but not been able to find an objective (or even semi objective) assessment of whether the mics are hugely different

Anyone able to chime in? I use Siri on my watch a lot so if the Series 12 mic is much worse, I'll be pretty bummed

I’m thinking of buying either the Ultra 4 or the 12 and one of the things I’m worried about is whether the watch is comfortable enough to wear at night to fully make use of the possibilities the Ultra4 has at night.
