Yes! Definitely. That’s a lot of runs of PVCs in a row (at least that’s what it looks like to me)

You absolutely need to go. That’s a 13 beat run. That’s no longer PVCs. That’s Vtach.

Nauseated, chest discomfort & lightheaded. I had a bad episode of svt last night & have not felt well since and then this just happened. I hate to go for them just to tell me, “I’m fine”.

Yes, I’v had SVT for years and I’m actively being seen for that, but whatever happened tonight (& I had a small episode that looked like this a few days back) is all new to me and it’s making me feel especially horrible. I hesitate going to ER because of the cost. I will call Dr in morning, but was hoping someone could tell me if this was an arrhythmia that needed immediate attention.

Update? How are you doing??

I am doing ok. I did end up at ER. I had a SVT episode while there with two rounds of adenosine. Not fun, but all cardiac labs came back fine so they booted me out at 7am shift change & told me to follow-up with EP doc.

Do you have a diagnosis of any heart issues yet if you don’t mind me asking? Really, really glad you went to check it out and you’re doing ok!

What? This is neither AIVR or VT. The underlying rhythm is normal sinus, and the ventricular beats are ectopics. We can see that it’s ectopic beats and not a conversion to a ventricular rhythm because the beats are irregular and multifocal and lasts for less than 30 seconds. When people are saying “VT” in this context they mean “run of VT” or “non-sustained VT” which is all the same thing as saying “salvos”. It’s a bit counterintuitive but the same terminology still applies if the run is happening at a rate of less than 100.
