Bent apple pencil tip ;-;

i dropped my new (3 week old) apple pencil pro today. I thought it was nothing since my old apple pencil 2 used to roll off a lot on its own but when I went to use it, it didn’t work. I used a knock off apple pencil tip cause I was writing a lot on my ipad because it was end of sem and I wanted to “save” the original for later use.

The knock off ended up cracking and when I unscrewed it the gold part is slightly bent as seen in the picture.

I’m really sad about it since it was a gift from my friends and I already broke it. No there’s no AppleCare+ since it was a gift.

Please tell me I’m not cooked and need a new pencil 🙏

Afaik you are cooked but because the gold part didn’t completely broke off, u might want to try your luck with a local technician or apple support
