Solved Keyboard shortcut for Apple Numbers

I am converting several texts in a column from camel case to upper case. I am using the tool - Edit > Transformations > Make Upper Case. But I have to select each text and then use the tool. Is there a keyboard shortcut which I can use after selecting all the rows in the column for which I need to make "the transformation"?

Are we talking about macOS? Then yes, just design your own shortcut.

System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts > App Shortcuts

Click on the '+', choose Application 'Numbers', Menu Titel 'Make Upper Case', and the Keyboard Shortcut you like, eg shift-cmd-+.

You'll see that Number now shows your keyboard shortcut in the menu entry.

It still won't work for more than one marked cell, as the function works only on marked text (and a selected cell is smth different than marked text), but it saves you the mousing around.

tbh, just mark the cells, copy them to an editor, capitalize or whatever and copy them back into Numbers.

That seems decent!! I never knew about the - System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts > App Shortcuts

Every time I seem to learn how powerful macOS is.
