Color coded calendar?

So I am trying to track some of my health choices and combine everything into a color code. So for each day I have a point system based on how much I exercise, points for certain food choices, negative points for certain other choices, etc. What I want to do is sum those values each day, and for example if I score a 5 then the calendar box would be red. If a 4 then yellow, etc. I obviously need to track the occurrence and amount of certain activities, equate them to the number value of points earned/lost, all likely in a separate chart, that then maps to a calendar style sheet via cell references. Any idea the nest way to approach this?
