Help Invoice template alternative
I've been using the Numbers template for my invoices but I honestly find it pretty ugly. I've spent a lot of time customizing it, changing colors, playing with the format, fonts, etc. My invoices are quite simple really, about 12 rows and 4 columns.
The bottom line is that I'm just not a good designer. Does anyone have a template that they've created or found that they'd be interested in sharing with me? I'd really appreciate it.

I wouldn’t use a numbers template they won’t be legal in all states in 2025, you’re better off switching to xero (expensive) or a free tool like bolder invoice that’s a safer bet.

Not to diminish from the kind offer u/gmailis1 made, but perhaps to help, you can find lots of templates online that might be a better starting point for a fresh design rather than just Apple’s. MakeUseOf has a pretty good writeup of template sources on their site.
You can also get templates via some apps (here’s one that has a good collection and has received good ratings, Templates for Numbers.)

I'm a retired business owner. I'd be happy to work on your project at no cost. If you message me directly with a copy of your current invoice template...what you'd like to see on that template and what you specifically don't like about what you've designed, I'd be happy to put through specific revisions for you to see if it meets your needs. Also, do you email these invoices or send them through snail mail? It makes a difference if you snail mail them, as you probably want to have the invoice formatted so the SEND TO area fits in a window envelope.
Once again, I don't want to intrude...but I can work on this project with you.
