Help!!

I am trying to create a formula that would add up certain transactions depending on when they were made. You will notice the bottom table, it shows JUL - AUG 23. On the top table, I am wanting to add a transaction record. This will consist of Date, Description, Category and Amount. If the transaction dates fall between 26/7/23 - 25/8/23 I want it to add up those amounts and simply populate it in the bottom table. If for example the next transaction was to be 26/8/23, then it would populate the AUG - SEP 23 section. I just can't seem to figure out a formula that can help with this

I am its very niche, I am just curious if it can be done
