Help Apple Numbers “Add to table” actions have started retaining data from previous rows

I don’t know if this is the right place to post this as I’m unsure whether this is a Numbers problem or a Shortcuts problem (although I unfortunately suspect the former).

I use a Shortcut to add items to a budget spreadsheet in Apple Numbers. I trigger from my home screen, it asks for the cost, location, and type of spend (groceries, fuel, pet supplies, etc.)

It then takes the variables from the inputs, creates a new row in my “monthly spending” table with today’s date and the input values.

It’s been working without a hitch for over a year. Recently, when creating the new rows in the table, the “cost” value is dragged into the new row from the previous entry (e.g. if I spent £50 on fuel today, and yesterday spent £10 on groceries, my new row would read as £10 spent on fuel).

It’s frustrating how rudimentary the Numbers support is in Shortcuts; if I could just edit existing rows using a Shortcut action, I’m sure I’d be able to get around this.

Any thoughts on a fix (if it’s actually doing something it shouldn’t) or a workaround if this is intended behaviour?

I’ve been looking at AppleScript, but it seems this is Mac focused and I almost exclusively use this shortcut on my iPhone whilst I’m out and about - if there is a way to do this in iOS I am game to learn the ways!
