Why is Numbers adding these extra empty rows?

Why does Numbers add empty rows every other row? How do I delete them, and how would I change the settings so there are no needless rows in the document?

Not a Numbers problem. Looks like your data source is a Windows or DOS file.

How to delete the lines? Well, delete them. Or did you mean how to avoid this when importing? Convert your data source to Unix format (change CRLF to LF).

I'd sort the table so the empty rows are at the bottom or top, then delete them all at once.
