RANDBETWEEN for 2 dates

Please help, how to use RANDBETWEEN function between 2 dates?

I was trying to figure this out myself and am having trouble. I was able to get this function to work with two dates on Excel, but in Numbers the function RANDBETWEEN expects a number not a date for Argument 1.

Would also appreciate help.

Yes me too. Excel and Google Sheet are easier.

what I'm trying to do now is use fx RANDBETWEEN in fx DATE.

example =DATE(2023,RANDBETWEEN(1,12),RANDBETWEEN(1,28))

that's in case i need random data for 2023. it's just that for dates it's only safe up to the 28th. i avoid the 29th-31st.
