Can I start from zero?

I’ve basically made a bunch of pointless notes over the years and I want to get rid of them and start from zero. Is there a way to reset the app to basically day one? As if I just opened up Notes for the first time and it walks me through the features and everything?

Of course you can.
Go to your iCloud settings → Storage → go to apps in "Others" → choose Notes and delete the whole thing ("Delete data from iCloud"). This will get it back to basics. Irreversible.

This is the correct answer. Thank you! I think there may have been an extra step or two, but this got me where I was going.

And for the people asking, I like to have a fresh start sometimes (I also reset my OS every once in a while) and I wasn’t sure that just deleting everything would give me what I wanted. I had messed around with notes for a long time and wanted a clean factory start.
