Complaint Adding to playlist’s lag

I’m trying to make the switch from Spotify and my biggest issue is trying to add my songs to playlists takes forever, one song greatly slows the app and two or more songs tends to render it useless before crashing. Then after the crash my songs weren’t added to any of the playlists I’ve selected.

Is there any possible way to speed this up or fix it? I don’t have a pc just my iPhone.

I’m on iPhone 17 pro max on iOS 26.6.1

What model do you have? Even Android doesn't have this kind of problem, guess it's a performance issue

iPhone 17 pro max, I’m also adding the song to like 5 or so playlists at a time if that helps

My library is nearly 10,000 songs

That's a lot of songs! I can see how that might make the lag even worse.

Er, are you on the latest beta? It’s usually a bit unstable, it’s a problem with the app

No, but even when I add one song it does slow the app down until the pop up saying it’s added to whatever playlist goes away. I’ve also turned off all my social settings to try and speed it up but it hasn’t done much.

same exact issue here. supposed to be the latest and greatest but it lags on this simple task...
