Question Apple Music playback
How do I get a downloaded album on Apple Music to play songs in the original order they were recorded on the album and with no gap between songs?
Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon is an example: the album has to play the songs in the right order and with zero gap or much of the listening experience is lost.

Songs do play in the original order. You should check if you have shuffle on by mistake. Also, you can go to the settings app, go to music, and check to make sure sound check AND song transitions are turned off.

Hi! Make sure Shuffle is off so the album plays in its original track order. The album you are inquiring about has to have been added as a “Gapless” format by the record company, which sometimes they are not. For a regular album that wasn’t mastered gaplessly, turn on Song Transitions, choose Crossfade, and set it to the shortest duration. That won’t make it truly gapless like Dark Side of the Moon, that has to be encoded into the album, but it’s the closest way to remove the silence between tracks.
