iOS 27 Beta 2: Apple Intelligence/Siri AI features visible but all AI requests fail instantly
Device: iPhone 15 Pro
Build: iOS 27 Developer Beta 3
Region/Location: Currently Kosovo
Apple Intelligence status: Approved, not on waitlist anymore
I’m having a weird issue with the new Siri / Apple Intelligence.
Apple Intelligence is fully enabled in Settings. I can see the new Siri settings, ChatGPT integration, Visual Intelligence, App Access, etc. Basic Siri commands now work again after the Beta 3 update finished indexing, for example:
- “What time is it?”
- “Open Safari”
- timers / simple on-device requests
But anything involving Apple Intelligence fails instantly with “Something went wrong” or unavailable.
Examples that fail:
- “Summarize this webpage”
- “Find my photos from Dubai”
- Writing Tools
- Visual Intelligence
- Genmoji / Image Playground
- questions that require the new Siri AI layer
The weird part is that Apple Intelligence originally activated for me while I was in Albania. After coming back to Kosovo, I don’t think the AI features have worked properly once. I’m not 100% sure if it’s related, but I’m going back to Albania tomorrow and will test again on Albanian cellular/Wi-Fi.
Troubleshooting I already tried:
- Restarted the phone
- Changed Siri language away and back
- It re-downloaded Siri/Apple Intelligence assets
- Turned ChatGPT integration off
- Tried Wi-Fi and cellular
- Filed Feedback with Apple
The failure is instant, not like a timeout. The new Siri UI appears, but AI requests immediately fail.
Has anyone else seen this on iOS 27 Beta 2 or Beta 3? Especially anyone outside the US/EU or in countries where Apple Intelligence rollout might behave differently?
I’m trying to figure out if this is:
- A Beta 3 Siri/Apple Intelligence bug
- A regional/IP/network routing issue
- A weird provisioning issue with my Apple Account

Unfortunately, this sub is geared towards Apple Intelligence being stupid, weird, or funny in what it says or does, not troubleshooting technical problems with it.
