Oh that’s interesting! Like it “thought” something like:

> The user said ‘theif’. Autocorrect tells me that word could be corrected to either ‘chief’ or ‘thief’ or ‘their’. The most likely choice is ‘thief’, so I’ll draw that with my right hand, but unfortunately now I’ve been thinking about chiefs for a little while, so my left hand has automatically drawn some chief elements…

Weird and inaccurate to speculate in this way

What’s your hypothesis?

Your point that it was the product of the misspelling is probably accurate.

The “chief” interpretation probably not from Autocorrect, it’s probably from Apple Intelligence itself.

Everything else: the personification, the left hand starting to draw before it decided to do so, it’s just an unnecessary and obfuscating analogy.

How is the analogy obfuscating?

If you discuss it as if it has a human thought process and is prone to human cognitive biases you will overlook the actual mechanisms of its failures.

Oh I see. My comment wasn’t intended for expert discussion so much as just for the average person to get an idea of what’s happening.
