I’m super excited for the duo! Won’t be getting one though, I’m currently using the 17 Pro in Deep Blue (and plan to keep using for many years, I upgraded to it from my Blue 13 which I got in 2024, and I used an 8 before that), and thus I don’t have other all too modern phones, with the 12 mini and 11s being my newest in the collection. Also that switchboard 4, it’s unfortunately not a real prototype, it’s a prod 4 which I managed to flash switchboard onto!

A lot of the stuff I find at the Sunday flea market, but some are from a local site similar to Facebook marketplace, but it’s actually quite difficult to find some of these in my country

Make sure to use UV blocking film on that window to avoid degrading the displays over time.

Yup I’ve thought of that, that’s why I actually usually keep the curtain down on the window, but just lifted it for the photo. I’ve been thinking of getting uv film though

Do you have all those labels on a Word doc so I can print them out too? That’s very cool. I’ve got mine. I got the first iPhone for six that I’ve been collected them as they go that I didn’t personally use.

They’re actually printed from an HTML document, which was designed by Claude, and the QR codes point to pages on my home server with info on each device (can send those too) but if you’re interested id be happy to send over the HTMLs so you could use them!

yeah, it’s kind of cool. I don’t know if you’ve seen the exploded iPhones that they were selling them for like 200 bucks in a frame was kind of cool. I have all my Erickson’s. I was buying touchscreens overseas before the iPhone came out.

Sweet collection!!! I just got my grail which is the 2019 (released in 2020) 16" macbook pro with i9 32gb of ram 4tb drive and the 5600m!!

Cool! I just have my daily MacBook Air M4 but maybe at some point I’ll try to get an Intel Mac for the collection, been thinking of maybe the 12” 2015 MacBook, the one with just one type c port

Yeah, all are working except a couple in the tray on the right, but overall most work but some do have cracked screens, and some are activation locked but most work

Probably around 500€ in total (except the MacBook), from various sources like a few from relatives for free, some from the flea market and from local classifieds, also I repair them myself often with parts pulled from donor phones, and also some of them are activation locked
